Justin Carney is an Australian rugby league player with the Castleford Tigers. He previously played for the Canberra Raiders and Sydney Roosters. He plays in the centres or as a winger and has represented the New South Wales Schoolboys.〔(Raiders profile )〕 He has no relation to former team-mate, Todd Carney. ==Career== Carney scored two tries on debut in a 34–16 win over the Brisbane Broncos.〔(Raiders destroy lacklustre Broncos ) 15 June 2008, Sydney Morning Herald〕 In round 17 of the 2009 NRL season against the Gold Coast Titans he suffered a fracture to both his tibia and fibula during a tackle.〔 〕 He could not play for the rest of the year and missed the entirety of the 2010 season. His first game for the Roosters was against the Wests Tigers on 3 April. He spent two seasons at the club, but played in just 17 games and failed to score a try in 2012. Carney joined the Castleford Tigers on a two-year contract from 2013. Coach Ian Millward said, "No one will run the ball harder or faster in Super League in 2013."
